Spot Clean When Possible
Use mild soap: If only a small area is dirty, spot cleaning is best. Use mild soap (like dish soap) and warm water, and gently scrub the fabric with a soft brush or cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as they can damage the coating.
Hand Wash
If the fabric needs a more thorough cleaning:
Use lukewarm water: Fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent (preferably designed for delicate or outdoor fabrics).
Soak and scrub: Submerge the fabric and gently scrub the surface with a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
Avoid Fabric Softener
Fabric softeners can break down the coating and reduce the effectiveness of thermal properties. Avoid using them
Drying
Air Dry: After cleaning, always air dry the fabric. Lay it flat on a clean surface or hang it up to dry. Direct heat from a dryer, iron, or sun exposure can damage the fabric’s thermal coating.
Do NOT tumble dry: do not use a tumble dryer as it can affect the fabric and the coating.
